KMP holds traffic awareness rally to curb accidents, ease congestion

Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) today organized a traffic awareness rally at the Sonadanga Bus Terminal to promote road safety and reduce traffic congestion in the city.

Additional Police Commissioner (Traffic and Protocol) Muhammad Shahnewaz Khaled led the rally, attended by Auto-rickshaw drivers and transport workers.

Speaking at the event, Khaled urged drivers and commuters to follow traffic rules strictly, saying that collective discipline can help make Khulna a safer and congestion-free city.

He said the awareness campaign has already begun in two areas and will continue for eight more days across ten locations.

Senior police officials, drivers, transport workers and members of the public attended the rally.
