Munshiganj: Two motorcyclists killed in Mawa Expressway hit-and-run

Two motorcyclists were killed Monday night after being hit by an unidentified vehicle on the service road of Mawa Expressway in Kuchiamora, Dhaleshwari Bridge area, Sirajdikhan upazila of Munshiganj.

The accident occurred around 10:30 pm.

The identities of the victims are yet to be confirmed, said Sub-Inspector Nur Mohammad of Hasara Highway Police.

“The motorcyclists were heading toward Mawa when they were reportedly struck from behind by the unknown vehicle, causing instant death at the scene. The bodies have been recovered and taken to Hasara Highway Police Station, where legal proceedings are underway,” he added.
