Two more arrested in Bhaluka Hindu youth killing

Police have arrested two more suspects in connection with the killing of a Hindu youth, Sanatan youth, Dipu Chandra Das (27), in Bhaluka Upazila in Mymensingh district, bringing the total number of arrestees to 12.

According to Police Headquarters, the two suspects were arrested by Mymensingh district police.

Three suspects were arrested on Saturday by the police.

Earlier, the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) had detained seven individuals linked to the incident.

The Chief Adviser's Press Wing confirmed on Saturday that RAB-14 carried out raids at different locations to apprehend the suspects.

Those arrested by RAB are- Md. Limon Sarkar (19), Md. Tarek Hossain (19), Md. Manik Mia (20), Ershad Ali (39), Nizum Uddin (20), Alamgir Hossain (38) and Md. Miraj Hossain Akon (46) 

Those previously arrested by the police are- Md. Ajmal Hasan Sagir (26), Md. Shahin Mia (19) and Md. Nazmul.

Law enforcement agencies said further investigation is ongoing, and necessary legal proceedings are being prepared in connection with the case.
