Govt. promotes 7 non-cadre officers as DS

Seven officers who were serving as Senior Assistant Secretaries (non-cadre) in various ministries and departments have been promoted to the post of non-cadre (non-cadre) deputy secretaries.

A notification in this regard was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Tuesday (November 25).

According to the notification, the officers who have been promoted to the post of deputy secretaries include Senior Assistant Secretary of the Health, Education and Family Welfare Department Md. Abdul Khalek, Senior Assistant Secretary of the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Department (under transfer order to the Ministry of Land) Md. Nazrul Islam, Senior Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Social Welfare Shirin Sultana, Assistant Wakf Administrator (Senior Assistant Secretary) of the Office of the Bangladesh Wakf Administrator S. M. Moniruzzaman, Senior Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Railways Md. Farhad Miah, Senior Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment SM Mahbubul Haque and Senior Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Md. Golam Mostafa.

The promoted officials can submit their joining letters directly to the Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration or online (email: sa1@mopa.gov.bd), the notification also said.
