Advisor Mahfuj Alam meets Turkish Trade Minister

Turkish Trade Minister Professor Dr. Omer Bolat met with Information and Broadcasting Advisor to the Interim Government of Bangladesh Md. Mahfuj Alam. 

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 'Antalya Diplomacy Forum, 2025' in Turkiye on Friday (April 11). Various important issues of bilateral trade and economic relations between Turkiye and Bangladesh were discussed during the meeting. 

During this meeting, Advisor Mahfuj Alam invited Turkish investors to invest in the economic zones of Bangladesh. Referring to the historical relations of friendship and brotherhood between the two countries, Turkish Trade Minister Professor Dr. Omer Bolat said that the Turkish government is interested in developing economic relations with Bangladesh.

In the meeting, Dr. Omer Bolat expressed interest in holding a meeting of the Turkiye-Bangladesh Joint Economic Commission in Dhaka this year.
