Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 5565 cases in last six days against vehicles, owners and its drivers across the capital for violating traffic rules.

A DMP release issued here today signed by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Media and Public Relations Division) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Muhammad Talebur Rahman.

"During the campaign against traffic rule violations, 441 motor vehicles were dumped and 260 vehicles were towed," the DMP release added.

It said the DMP Traffic Division has filed those cases and realized fines in last six days from April 1, 2025 to April 06 in 2025.

These drives against traffic rule breakers will continue to ensure discipline on Dhaka's streets, the release added.
