July uprising teaches us to stand up with self-esteem: Nahid

“We hope that the expectation will be fulfilled for what everyone has carried out movement and gave their blood. The July uprising has taught us to stand up with self-esteem. With this confidence, we can build a new Bangladesh,” he said while addressing the closing ceremony of 11th GSC National Scientist Mania held at Government Science College here.
Urging all to remain alert, Nahid said ill efforts are going on to make the students controversial. Disputes and conflicts among the students are presenting them in a negative way before the countrymen, he added.

The adviser told the college students that there is no need to call me sir. “I am your brother. We will move forward together shoulder to shoulder like the mass uprising. If we make a mistake, please let us help to be corrected”, he added.
“If the nation needs, we will take to the streets again,” Nahid said, urging everyone to focus on their studies.
He also said that in addition to providing state honors to the martyrs and injured people in the July uprising, arrangements will be made for the rehabilitation of the families of the martyrs and treatment of the injured.
