Gaan Bangla TV chairman Taposh arrested

Police have arrested  chairman of Gaan Bangla television channel Kaushik Hossain Taposh from Bhatara area in Dhaka.

Taposh was arrested on Sunday night in connection with a case filed at the Uttara East Police Station over killings during the July-August mass movement, said Deputy Commissioner (DC) of the Uttara Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP)  Raunak Jahan on Monday.

Taposh was sent to a court on Monday with a seven-day remand prayer.
