Over 1.82-lakh SSC examinees in BISE, Dinajpur


One lakh 82 thousand and 410 students areexpected to appear in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examinations-2025 under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Dinajpurfrom tomorrow.
Controller of Examinations of BISE, Dinajpur Professor Mir Sajjad Ali said all necessary preparations have been completed for holding the examinations in a completely peaceful atmosphere in all eight districts of Rangpur division under the education board.
The SSC candidates from 2,767 secondary level educational institutions of Rangpur division will take part in the examinations at 280 examination centres this year.
Of the total one lakh 82 thousand and 410 participating SSC examinees this year, 92 thousand and 670 are male and 89 thousand and 740 are female candidates.
The total number of participating SSC examinees this year is higher by 1,102 candidates than last year's total number of one lakh 81 thousand and 308 candidates of the last year in BISE, Dinajpur.
"A total of 97 thousand 708 candidates will take part in the examinations from Science Group, 82 thousand and 385 candidates from Humanities Group and two thousand 317 candidates from Business Studies Group this year," Ali said.
A total of one lakh 49 thousand and 643 candidates will sit for SSC examinations as regular candidates, 32 thousand and 443 as irregular candidates and 324 candidates for improving their GPA statuses this year in the education board.
Of the total, 32 thousand and 985 candidates will appear in the SSCexaminations at 51 examination centres in Rangpur, 13 thousand and 855 at 20 centres in Lalmonirhat, 21 thousand and 121 at 27 centres in Nilphamari, 20 thousand and 534 at 34 centres in Kurigram and 25 thousand and 303 candidates at 40 centres in Gaibandha districts.
Besides, 38 thousand and 132 candidates will take part in the SSCexaminations at 62 examination centres in Dinajpur, 17 thousand and 984 at 24centres in Thakurgaon and 12 thousand and 496 candidates at 22 centres inPanchagarh districts.
