Joint forces recover firearms, ammunitions in Rajshahi

A Joint force recoverd firearms and ammunition during an anti-crime operation in Pakianpara village under Chargthat Upazila in the district last night.

''A team of joint forces conducted a raid at Pakianpara village around 1.30 am and recovered a foreign pistol, three one-shooter guns, one magazine, eight rounds of bullets and 3.50 kilograms of explosives used for making hand bombs'', said RAB to BSS.

A press release issued from Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) here this morning said , the firearms and explosives were stockpiled for creating an unstable and undisciplined situation.

The sized arms and ammunition were handed over to Chargaht Police Station, the release added.
